Gabrielle Gardner​

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Gabrielle Gardner began her ballet training at the age of three and continued her studies at Columbia Conservatory of Dance under the direction of William Starrett and Mariclare Miranda. At age ten, she joined the apprentice program with South Carolina Ballet, performing featured roles such as Clara in William Starrett’s Nutcracker and Victoria Harker in Dracula, with performances throughout the Southeast.

At fourteen, Gabrielle was accepted into the residential dance program at the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, where she continues to develop her artistry and technique. She is a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts and has competed in distinguished competitions, including Youth America Grand Prix regionals. In 2019, she placed first in the Junior Category at the inaugural Grand Jeté Ballet Competition.

Gabrielle has performed a wide range of roles, including Snow White in Snow White, Sugar Plum Fairy, and Snow Queen in William Starrett’s Nutcracker. She is currently in her fourth season with South Carolina Ballet and her second season as a Soloist.
