Class Placement

Columbia Conservatory of Dance places students thoughtfully to support long-term development rather than accelerated advancement. Faculty may recommend placement changes throughout the year as students progress.

Academic Year & Schedule

Classes follow an academic-year structure, with sessions beginning in late summer and continuing through the spring. The weekly schedule varies by level and program.

A detailed class schedule is provided to enrolled families and updated as needed throughout the year.

Day Program

The Conservatory offers a structured daytime training program for advanced students seeking focused, comprehensive instruction. Participation in the Day Program is by faculty invitation or approval and requires a significant commitment to training.

Studio Policies

Detailed policies regarding attendance, dress code, tuition, and studio guidelines are provided upon enrollment. Families and students are encouraged to review all policies carefully.
